Victor Sheldon Stark
January 19, 1946 -  December 3, 2016


Vic Stark passed away on December 3, 2016 after a brief illness. A private memorial service was held with family and close friends. With his generous spirit, Vic donated his body to UAB so that researchers could gain knowledge from his passing.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sally Flemming Stark; sons Victor Stark, Jr. and Nicholas Stark; daughter Sherrill Stark; 2 grandsons; and 2 granddaughters.

He graduated from Shades Valley High School in 1965 and his sister, Judy Stark Bolin, was in the class of 1966.  

Vic served for 4 years in the U.S. Navy and was later was employed in heavy duty truck sales. He was an avid competitor and excelled at all he undertook and especially loved golf.  He was also very adept at tennis, racquetball and pool and enjoyed fishing. In his later years he took up painting and sketching. He also whittled and basically just enjoyed his home life and being with his wife, kids and grand kids.
